1. Acceptance
By downloading, accessing or using BudgetCare, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the application. You must be legally capable of entering into this agreement in your jurisdiction.
2. What BudgetCare provides
BudgetCare is a personal information and budgeting tool that helps users record expenses and income, create budgets, import supported statements, categorise transactions and view reports. It is not a bank, payment service, investment adviser, accountant, credit provider or tax adviser.
3. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate account information, protect access to your device and credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless prohibited by law. One device may maintain separate local databases for different signed-in users; this is not a cloud backup or cross-device synchronisation service.
4. Subscriptions and Google Play
Paid access may be offered as monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscriptions through Google Play. Prices, taxes and currency are displayed by Google Play before purchase and may vary by country.
- Payment is charged through your Google Play account.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through Google Play before the renewal date.
- Deleting BudgetCare or deleting your BudgetCare account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription.
- Cancellation normally stops future renewal while access continues for the paid period, subject to Google Play terms.
- Refund eligibility and payment disputes are governed by Google Play policies and applicable law.
5. Licence and acceptable use
Subject to these terms, AMT Technologies grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use BudgetCare on supported devices. You must not reverse engineer where prohibited, bypass subscription controls, introduce malicious code, misuse import functions, interfere with the service, violate another person’s rights or use BudgetCare unlawfully.
6. Your data and backups
You are responsible for the accuracy of entries and for maintaining exports or copies you need. Core financial data is stored locally. Device loss, uninstalling, clearing app storage or account deletion may permanently remove it. Export important reports before deleting or resetting the application.
You represent that you have the right to process any statement or information you import and that you will not use BudgetCare to process another person’s information without authority.
7. Intellectual property
BudgetCare, the AMT Technologies and BudgetCare names, visual identity, software, design and original content are owned by AMT Technologies or its licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership. Third-party services and libraries remain subject to their respective licences.
8. Availability and disclaimers
We work to provide a reliable application but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect statement compatibility, error-free categorisation or suitability for a particular financial outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BudgetCare is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties not expressly required by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AMT Technologies will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, lost data, lost profits or decisions made using app outputs. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
9. Suspension, deletion and termination
You may stop using BudgetCare or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance or a material breach of these terms. Provisions that by nature should survive termination—including intellectual property, disclaimers and dispute provisions—will survive.
10. Changes
We may change BudgetCare or these terms as the product and legal requirements evolve. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights available in your place of residence. Courts with appropriate jurisdiction in Maharashtra, India will have jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer-dispute rules.
